On July 31st, the last missing cards from upcoming crossover of Magic the Gathering and The Hobbit were revealed. You can find all of them below, alongside additional information about the set.

Alternate Art Cards
Besides the regular versions, there are also plenty of awesome alternate art cards.
Box Toppers
The One Ring returns as one of the Box Toppers from The Hobbit set.

The Headliner Smaug
One of the rarest cards in the set is going to be this gleaming gold version of Smaug.
Dwarven Language
If you don’t speak Dwarven, this is an awesome new version of Arcane Signet.
Book Cover Cards
The treatment is reminiscent of the old book covers, hence the name.
Dragon Frame Cards
Some of the rares and mythics from the main set get the alternate artworks featuring the so-called Dragon Frames. Here are the four we’ve seen so far.
Promo Pack Cards
These five variants will appear in the Promo Pack. While we don’t know exactly what that pack is, the cards do look pretty neat.

So, those are all currently available cards. But in which products will you be able to open them? Let’s find out.
Play Boosters
These are the regular, cheaper boosters. They allow you to play Draft or Sealed, but you can also just open them for fun. If you get a full box (containing 30 boosters), you’ll also get a random Box Topper, which does add some extra value to the box.
Collector Boosters
The more expensive boosters meant for collectors. All cards in a Collector booster are in foil or feature alternate art, sometimes even both. With exclusive artworks and 5 guaranteed rares per pack these are extremely fun to open.
Scene Boxes
Each scene box contains 6 exclusive cards that can be aligned into an iconic scene from the Hobbit. On top of that, you’re also getting 3 Play boosters per box.
Crack the Plates
First one depicts the Dwarves when they first visit Bilbo. You’ll likely encounter some cards that make Food tokens.
Treasures of Smaug
The other one shows Biblo’s encounter with Smaug. This one will most certainly contain a different type of token — Treasures.

Regular Bundle
9 Play boosters, a promo card, 34 basic lands, and a cool box is what awaits you in this Bundle, along with some other extras.
Gift Bundle
Fairly similar to the previous Bundle, but even better, as it also contains a single Collector booster.

Draft Night
With 12 Play boosters and 90 basic lands, this offers everything you need for a 4-player draft. Oh, there’s also a Collector booster on top of that.
The Hobbit — Key Dates
So far, we know about a couple of key dates for this set. More will be added in the future, as we learn more about when the official spoiler season starts and so on.

I’m definitely surprised by some of the traditional old storybook art style they chose for some cards and the land base but also content with it. I’m surprised they didn’t make a more powerful Smaug card. They reprinted The One Ring!!! But no PRECONS!!!!!!!! Very disappointed and a HUGE missed opportunity for WOTC in that regard. I would have bought however many they would have made. Already some pros and cons with this set. We’ll see what else they release in the weeks ahead.
Smaug just 4/3 is ridiculous.
And he isnt indestructible, plus some unique flaw that gets paet the indestructible.
Epic miss on the part of the designers.
It’s not quite how I would imagine a Smaug’s card either based on the lore.
Love the art design for the cards! But no Dwarf tribal deck and no pre cons whatsoever, is a major miss. How did TMNT and marvel get pre cons but hobbit doesn’t?! That insane!
Yeah, I agree. Sure, there’s probably not enough content in The Hobbit for multiple Commander decks, but it feels like they could’ve done a single one.
Hopefully, there’s some good Dwarf support in the main set or at least in the Scene Boxes.
I don’t understand how we don’t have any really good Dwarves; this was the moment. The set is called *The Hobbit*, yet we don’t have a truly strong Bilbo. It’s very frustrating.
Yeah, i think it’s still too early to make a clear comment on any of it. PROS, i love how they went for a more nostalgic side of things. Keeping the hobbit and lotr anchored in what people know is a sure win. Also, having more copies of the one ring is good to put pressure off the market. CONS. the new ” one” ring is kind of a miss for me. The one ring is still the ONE ring. Either be it in the hobbit or the lotr. do not down play anything. go hard. It should still be indestructible. my honest oppinion. But i’m super happy to see stuff coming out and kept dry pounder for this one! See you on the battle field!
Ho! And i almost forgot. Dwarf tribal needs to be predominant. They are almost omnipresent from page one to end. Cheers!
