Battle Pose Cards: Where to Get the Textless Avatar Cards?

If you’re a fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender, you probably remember its awesome intro. The iconic music, narrator talking about the elements, and benders’ silhouettes in their battle poses. The latter inspired textless cards that you can find in the Avatar set.

In today’s article you’ll discover everything about these, so-called Battle Pose cards. First, we’ll take a look at all currently previewed ones, then check how you can obtain them.

In total, there are 9 Battle Pose cards, split into two groups:

• 4 Neon Ink Battle Pose cards (only appear in special neon ink foil)
• 5 Regular Battle Pose cards (appear in foil and non-foil)

Neon Ink Foils

There are only four Battle Pose cards, each illustrated by Flavio Girón. You can find them below, alongside their regular versions. (This way you’ll know what the cards actually do.)

The fourth card is no other than Aang — its double-sided version, which gives us twice as much art. That’s pretty neat, right?

“Regular” Battle Pose Cards

Besides the four ink foils, there are also five regular Battle Pose cards.

Where Can You Get Avatar Battle Pose Cards?

The neon ink Battle Pose cards can only be opened in Avatar: The Last Airbender Collector boosters. This means those will probably be fairly rare, and some of the best pulls in the whole set. (The exact odds are currently unknown.)

The regular Battle Pose cards can be found in both Collector and Play boosters. In both products they appear in foil and non-foil, but without the neon ink treatment. While we don’t know the exact percentages, the Collector boosters probably give you a better chance of opening them.
