Challenger Decks 2022 Previewed Early

Each year, Wizards release new Standard Challenger Decks. These are out of the box competitive Standard decks that could win a tournament at your local game store.

While we don’t know much about Challenger Decks 2022, we know their names and face images. Based on that, we can quite easily predict what the decks will be about. These decks release

These decks will be released on April 1st, 2022. (That’s not an April Fool’s joke.)

Mono White Aggro

The face card of this deck is Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. You can expect this deck to try to overwhelm the opponent with lots of small white creatures.

Dimir Control

This deck is on the opposite side of the spectrum. With this one, you’ll try to prolong the game. Remove your opponent’s threats and win the game with Iymrith, Desert Doom, which can both draw you extra cards and finish the game.

Rakdos Vampires

This is one of the Challenger decks 2022 that is amazing for fans of tribal synergies. As the name suggests, it’s all about the Vampires. Florian, Voldaren Scion is a perfect card for a Vampire tribal deck.

Grull Stompy

Finally, here are big red and green creatures. Always a fun strategy, and often very efficient. The face card is Tovolar’s Packleader, so there might be some Wolf and Werewolf synergies in this one.
