Release Date
On March 18th, 2021 Wizards of the Coast confirmed the release date for Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. You’ll be able to get your hands on the newest take on this Gothic horror themed plane on September 17th, 2021.
Innistrad: The Midnight Hunt Products
Let’s check which type of products are we getting in September 2021.
Draft Boosters
These are your regular boosters. You get 36 packs per box, and this is the product you should get, if you’re planning on drafting. In Midnight Hunt limited lives up to the hype of the previous Innistrad sets (not counting Avacyn Restored), we’re in for an amazing draft format.
Set Boosters
Set booster box contains 30 Set boosters. These tend to have more rares than regular boosters, and are best if you’re just planning on opening packs. You can find out more about Set boosters here.
Bundle
Bundle contains 8 Set boosters. Nice option, if you’d like to get some Midnight Hunt cards, but don’t want to spend too much. You also get a nice sturdy box as well.
Collector Boosters
Finally, there’s the Collector booster. The box contains 12 of them. You’ll get a ton of powerful cards, multiple rares and all cards will be either in foil or will have an alternate art. Amazing pick for collectors, but it does come with a higher price.
You can find Midnight Hunt Collector Booster contents here.
Innistrad Midnight Hunt Commander Decks
As we mentioned before, there will also be two Commander decks, which you can already order on Amazon.
Additionally, you can find more information about Innistrad Midnight Hunt Commander decks here.
Packaging Leak
The Innistrad Japanese packaging was first leaked on the MTG Subreddit on February, 13th. These weren’t confirmed to be real, but they did look pretty convincing. Each type of booster has three different versions.
Since we have the matching official packaging, we can assume these single boosters are real too. So, what can we speculate from all this knowledge?

Draft Boosters
Draft boosters feature some well known characters.
Teferi has various cards, the two most powerful ones are most certainly Teferi, Hero of Dominaria and Teferi, Time Reveler. His latest card was Teferi, Master of Time in the Core Set 2021, which wasn’t on the same power level. We shall see how strong he will be when in the Innistrad set.
Wrenn and Six have only one card, but that’s a very powerful one. Wizards didn’t reprint the same card but made Wrenn and Seven instead. The wolf on the artwork might be Arlinn Kord.
There’s also Olivia Voldaren, which will probably make Vampire fans happy. Last booster features an unknown character.
Set Boosters
Set boosters show us some unknown characters plus some Werewolves, which are apparently making a return. This doesn’t come as a big surprise, as they are a very popular tribe of the plane.
Innistrad Collector Boosters
Wrenn and Six also appears on one of the Innistrad Collector Boosters. There’s also another character, which we don’t know yet. Do you have any idea who might it be? Let us know in the comments below.

Until next time, have fun and may all your wishes for the new Innistrad set come true.
Something tells me that Tamiyo is the character on the collectors boosters: we’ve seen her twice already on the plane of Innistrad, and being “The Moon Sage” it seems fitting that she would take the side of the werewolves.
Please tell us who. We are all screaming to find out. It’s definitely a female. Liliana Vess can probably add to a good horror story. She is my guess. #Hoping
I am just expecting Avacyn in the first Innistrad Set
I have some bad news for you about avacyn…
I’m just hoping to get a good Werewolf commander, maybe one that can flip others on a command.
This would be amazing!
Reprint Force of negation, price is skyrocketing no matter the last reprint
