Hello there, explorer! Welcome to Lorwyn Eclipsed Draft Tier List. This article is meant as a companion to our Lorwyn Eclipsed Draft Guide. The latter will discuss the big picture stuff, but here you’ll find grades for each and every card you can open in Lorwyn Play boosters — based on their power level for draft.
Before we get to those, let’s quickly check the grading system, which is a bit different than usual.
UPDATE: (February 20th) This article received its final update. We’ve been drafting this set for more than a month, so grades should be fairly accurate, with no large outliers.
Lorwyn Eclipsed Draft Tier List – Legend
If you’ve read our previous tier list, there is a small, but relevant change to our grading scale. Previously, a lot of cards were centered in the C range, with only a small amount falling a grade below into the D territory.
Thus, a change was made to those two grades, which results in cards being more evenly distributed. Hopefully, this will give you an even better idea of how good a specific card is.
- A: The best cards in the set. They can win games on their own.
- B: Solid cards, reasons to draft their colors.
- C: Playable cards. Not too exciting, but you’ll happily pick them, when you’re already drafting their colors.
- D: Nothing special, easily replaceable. A few D+ cards will likely end up in your deck as your 20th-23rd best cards.
- F: Unplayable, niche cards. Usually meant for constructed formats.
All grades (except F) can use a “+” or a “-” symbol. Naturally, B+ is a better grade than B, which is better than B-.

With that said, here are the grades for every card in Lorwyn Eclipsed Play boosters. The new cards’ hover images might not be working yet — you can find Lorwyn Eclipsed cards here.

*These cards are Lorwyn Eclipsed Special Guests. These are extremely rare, that’s why their listed at the end of every table. (On average, you can expect to open one per 20 drafts.) Still, you can play them in Lorwyn draft, so we still graded them.
Note: Keep in mind that these grades work in a vacuum. As you draft, you should slightly adjust those, depending on your previous picks. For example, if you’re low on two mana plays, that random two drop that’s just a D+ is now looking more like a C.
