Throne of Eldraine MTG Story
Do you want to read more about Eldraine storyline? Well, we have a bad news and good news for you. The bad news is that the story isn’t available on the Wizards’ website as before. The good news is that there is a whole book written about it and you can already purchase it here.
Best Throne of Eldraine Spoilers
We’ll take a look at the best spoilers from Throne of Eldraine – the most powerful and exciting cards spoiled so far.
Garruk, Cursed Huntsman

Guess who’s back? Back again! Garruk’s back. In Throne of Eldraine.
Perhaps stronger then ever before, reminding us of Vraska, Relic Seeker. He protects himself very well wit two wolves which also give him loyalty counters. If the first two wolves die, you can ultimate him the next turn, get an insanely powerful emblem and keep Garruk alive.
Oko, Thief of Crowns

Oko is a brand new planeswalker and a very interesting one at that. He might not seem like much at first sight, but remember that Beast Within is a very powerful Magic card. Although his second ability can’t target any permanent it’s still very useful.
It also works well with his +2. You can turn your Food tokens into 3/3 Elks – now that’s Magic! His ultimate may come in handy, especially because you can use it on turn 4. Give your opponent some food and take their creature!
What is a MTG Food Token?
Food token is an artifact token with subtype Food. You can pay two mana and tap it to gain 3 life. Some cards also care about subtype Food.

Beanstalk Giant
Beanstalk Giant is a very powerful uncommon. You can use him as a ramp spell or as a creature – or both! This is possible because of the new Adventure mechanic.

How Does MTG Adventure Work?
Adventure gives you two options. First one – you can just cast a card as a creature and forget about sorcery text. In this case we’d pay 7 mana and cast a big Beanstalk Giant.
Second option is the more interesting one. You can send your creature on adventure! You can cast Fertile Footsteps for three mana and exile this card. At any time you can cast a creature, you can cast Beanstalk Giant for seven mana and get both effects this way! Pretty neat, huh?

New MTG Boosters
- Draft Booster
- Theme Booster
- Collector Booster
Draft Booster
Draft boosters are regular old boosters, that we’ve known for the past 25 years. The only thing changing is just the name, so that we can distinguish between other types of boosters.

Content
Each Draft booster contains 15 cards:
- 10 commons
- 3 uncommons
- 1 rare or mythic rare
- 1 basic land
- 1 token card
Theme Booster
Theme boosters have been around for a short while. Now you have a chance of getting an extra rare or mythic rare card.
Theme boosters are aimed at newer players, or players who only want cards from a certain color. There are five different boosters – one for each color of Magic. All cards in the booster are from the respective color. For example in the booster pictured bellow you’d only get black cards.

Content
Each Theme Booster contains:
- 34 commons and uncommons (mix)
- 1 rare or mythic rare
- 1 card with tips for new players
You also have a 10% chance that you get one more rare or mythic rare card. The card will probably replace one of the common cards.
Collector Booster
The biggest change to the MTG boosters comes with this special pack. It will fetch a premium price, but it looks like it will be worth it. It includes bunch of foils, alternate art cards and border-less versions of certain cards. Furthermore some of those arts will be only obtainable through a Collector Booster.
For anyone who likes pimped cards, there’s finally a booster pack made just for you.

Content
- 9 foil commons and uncommons (mix)
- 3 special-frame cards (showcase or borderless planeswalkers)
- 1 rare or mythic rare with extended art
- 1 foil rare or mythic rare
- 1 ancillary card*
- 1 foil token
*Anicilliary cards are related to the set but don’t appear in Booster Packs. For example – Buy a Box promo, cards from Planeswalker Decks etc.
