Today we’re taking a look at the first One Piece Starter deck releasing in 2025. Below, you’ll be able to discover everything we currently know about it, including ST21 decklist, card list, and more details about the deck.
But first, let’s check what this deck is all about.
OP-ST21: EX Gear 5
This is a red deck, which means it’s best suited for players who like aggressive playstyle and finishing the game quickly. On top of that, given that this is Ultra Starter deck, it’s has slightly higher power level than the regular One Piece Starter decks. That’s certainly always welcome if you plan to use it in a competitive setting with some upgrades.
As the deck’s name suggest, it focuses on Luffy’s epic transformation, the so-called “Gear 5”, which first appears in the Episode 1071.
As expected, the deck is ready-to-play right out of the box, with 50 cards, 10 Don!! cards and a Leader card. Speaking of which, let’s take a look at it:

ST21 Release Date
In Japan, the ST21 deck was already released on December 21st, 2024. However, if you want the English version, you’ll need to wait a while longer – until March 14th, 2025. However, the deck might already be available for preorder on Amazon and TCGPlayer.
