Blue-Green (Simic) Ramp was Tier 0 in Standard for the first few weeks after M21 was released, and for good reason. Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is a powerhouse in any format, and when put into a smaller card pool like Standard 2021 it can be devastating.
With great ramp cards like Cultivate and Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath, getting to play Ugin earlier than turn 8 is trivial. The fact that this deck can hold its own with cards like Jolrael, Mwonvuli Recluse and Brazen Borrower means that Simic Ramp is a very resilient deck in the early game, with extremely powerful cards for the top end in the late game.
If you enjoy playing devastating planeswalkers and getting to a ridiculous amount of mana, this deck won’t disappoint you.
