Doctor Who came to Magic with a bang in October 2023. There were plenty of fascinating cards, but perhaps the most exciting ones are the so-called TARDIS Showcase cards. In this article you’ll be able to find everything you need to know about them, including the full list of all TARDIS cards.

What are TARDIS Showcase Cards?

TARDIS Showcase cards are MTG cards from the Doctor Who set, with alternate art and frame. Their frame is designed in the likeliness of the iconic time travel machine / spaceship from the show. If you’re unfamiliar with the show and the frame looks like a phone booth to you, well you aren’t wrong. But who’s to say that a booth can’t also be a time machine?

These cards only appear in the Doctor Who Collector boosters. In total, there are 30 different TARDIS Showcase cards. Their rarity breakdown is as follows:

• 23 rares
• 3 uncommons

How to Get TARDIS Showcase Cards?

TARDIS Showcase cards only appear in Doctor Who Collector boosters. The Commander decks won’t have them, except maybe in the Sample pack, that’s included. However, that one only includes two cards total, whereas the actual collector comes with 15, where two are guaranteed TARDIS cards.

The other option you have of acquiring cards is to pick up singles on the secondary market. That’s typically a better way if you’re looking for a specific card. On the other hand, if you just want to get some cool-looking Doctor Who cards, Collector boosters are great for that.
