Ninja Turtles Magic set is bringing us not one, but two different bundles. One is an aptly named Pizza Bundle, while the other one is simply a regular Bundle, which you might be familiar with.
The main focus of this article is the new Pizza Bundle and its contents. (Included recently leaked promos — there are some pricey ones.) However, we’ll also compare it to the regular one, so you can make an informed decision on which one to pick.
With that said, let’s jump right in.
Pizza Bundle Contents
In each Pizza Bundle, you can expect:
- 9 Play boosters
- 1 Collector booster
- 2 promo cards (out of 6 possible options)
- 30 full-art basic lands (5 of them are foil)
- 1 spindown life counter
- 1 box
While there are no actual pizzas included , the Bundle is designed in a shape of a pizza box. As far as Bundles go, that’s pretty unique.
Boosters
A lot of value of a Bundle is typically tied to the boosters. Here, you get 9 Play boosters, which is fairly standard.
Furthermore, you also get the premium Collector booster. The latter can be quite pricey, as it contains at least 5 rares or mythic. Plus, all the cards are foil or use alternate art, sometimes even both. Some special versions can only be found in these packs.
With most sets lately, Collector boosters have been selling out like hot cakes. If that’s also the case with TMNT, you can expect the Pizza Bundle to also be fairly popular as a result.
Exclusive Promos
But that’s not all that can make it a popular product. Each Bundle comes with two random promo cards out of six possible options. These are reprint of popular iconic cards, with brand-new artwork featuring characters from TMNT.
All cards have been officially revealed, so let’s take a look:

Extras
The box is usually a neat addition to the Bundle, as it can be used to store extra cards or even decks. We shall see exactly how this one looks, but most likely its shape doesn’t make it as practical as that of a regular box.
Furthermore, the full-art basic lands are pretty neat, as they are the so-called pizza lands.

That’s it about the Pizza Bundle. Let’s check its regular counterpart and then compare the two.
Regular TMNT Bundle Contents
In the regular TMNT Bundle, you’ll find:
- 9 Play booster
- 1 promo card
- 30 basic lands (10 full-art, 20 regular, half of each group are foil)
- 1 spindown life counter
- 1 box
As you can see, that’s somewhat similar to the Pizza Bundle. However, there’s the omission of Collector booster, and the promo card is just an alternate-art Shark Shredder, which also appears in the main TMNT set. (It’s the same card in all Bundles.)

MTG Ninja Turtles Bundles: Pizza VS Regular
So, which of the two Bundles is a better option? That depends on how much you’re paying for them. As far as their MSRP goes, Pizza Bundle is priced at $99.99, while the regular one is cheaper at $69.99.
What are you getting for those thirty bucks extra? A Collector booster and two potentially valuable promo cards. There are some great hits among these and the Collector booster is also pricey (MSRP of $37.99), which makes the Pizza Bundle a significantly better buy purely based on value.
On the other hand, if you just want the cheaper product, you can still go with the regular Bundle, especially if the price of Pizza Bundle increases. That’s been known to happen with products containing Collector boosters.
Conclusion
And that’s it for the Ninja Turtle Bundles overview. What do you think about these? Do you plan to get any and if so which ones? Let us know in the comments below.
