Hello friend, and welcome to The Lost Caverns of Ixalan Tier List. This article supplements our Lost Caverns of Ixalan Draft Guide, in which you’ll find in-depth information about the draft format. There’s discussion about mechanics, key commons, and archetypes.
This article is a bit different. Here you’ll find a grade for each card that you can open in the Lost Caverns of Ixalan Draft boosters. Hopefully, this will help you win even more draft games.
I’ve played a ton of drafts in the first couple of days after the set dropped. It went splendid, as I reach reached 50 wins with 70.4% win rate in just two days. This tier list is now updated with lessons learned from this play time, and should be fairly accurate.
The Lost Caverns of Ixalan Draft Tier List – Legend
Let’s quickly check what each grade means, before we get to the grades:
- A: The best cards you can open. These bombs often win you the game on their own.
- B: Strong cards. They are a reason to play their colors.
- C: Fine cards that you’ll typically play when you’re in their colors.
- D: Mediocre cards, which you’ll sometimes play, but would rather avoid.
- F: Unplayable cards. You should never play these.
It can be hard to bundle cards in just five groups. Thus, all grades (except F), can come with a “+” or a “-” symbol. Grade B+ is better than B, which is better than B-.
