Jeskai Striker Precon: Decklist & Spoilers

Are you excited to cast a bunch of spells with the Jeskai Striker precon? Based on the first looks, the deck seems to be a real treat for the fans of white-blue-red color combination. Want to know more about it? That’s great, as below we’ll share all currently available info.

So, what is Jeskai Striker all about?

Cast a Flurry of Spells

The prowess mechanic appeared for the first time in the original Khans of Tarkir block. A creature with prowess gets +1/+1 whenever you cast a noncreature spell. The ability was closely tied to the Jeskai clan.

Thus, it shouldn’t be a big surprise that Jeskai Striker seems to lean into that same strategy, based on the two lines on the packaging: “Cast extra spells.” and “Flurry spell effects.”

Both of these suggest that typical Jeskai play patterns, aligned with the prowess mechanic. Most likely, you’ll want to cast a bunch of noncreature spells in a single turn to gain various benefits. (Kinda like building around Jeskai Ascendancy.)

Lately, most precon commanders also come with a built-in card advantage. Something that would fit a commander of this deck, could be text like: “Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, exile the top card of your library, you may play it until the end of the turn.”
