Scions & Spellcraft Spoilers
Here are cards that appear for the first time in the Scions & Spellcraft precon.

Drawing cards is always nice, although Y’shtola does require a player to lose at least 4 life. However, this happens at each end step, not just yours and it doesn’t necessarily have to be an opponent. Thus, you could be the one paying life for various benefits. Or you could simply damage your opponents.
That can be done with some help from the second ability. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell with mana value 3 or more, Y’shtola deals 2 damage to each opponent and you gain 2 life. Only two more to go! (You can also trigger this ability multiple times in a round.)

G’raha Tia costs just three mana, which is great for a 3-color commander. Lifelink is useful, particularly since you’ll be paying some life with this card in play.
You’ll typically opt for that when you cast your most expensive noncreature spell for the turn, as you’ll be rewarded with a large Hero token.
G’raha seems like a strong commander on its own plus there are cool synergies with Y’shtola.
