Lorwyn Eclipsed is bringing a ton of sweet cards. There are spectacular alternate arts, powerful rares, chase mythics, iconic callbacks, and more! However, there’s just one Serialized Bitterbloom Bearer. (Well, technically there are 500 of them, but you get the gist.)
Today’s article discusses everything about this special card, including some Bitterbloom Bearer Lore, all of its versions, and the odds of actually pulling it from a booster.
There’s a lot to talk about, so let’s start.
What is the Serialized Bitterbloom Bearer?
Regular Version
Before we get to the serialized version, here’s the regular one.

As you can see, it’s a mythic from the main set, and an obvious reference to Bitterblossom, which was first printed in Morningtide. (The second set of the original Lorwyn block.)
If you’re a newer player, you might not know the card. Well, once upon a time it was a multi-format staple — an insanely powerful card. Nowadays, it’s been yet another victim to the power creep.
Does turning it into a creature with flash enough to make it playable in 2026? We shall see to be, but the card seems really strong for just two mana.
Fable Frame Version
Next, up here’s an alternate art version, using the so-called fable frame.

This one also looks really neat, and you’ll probably be happy if you manage to pull it. However, not quite as much as you’d be with:
Serialized Version

Finally, we’ve reached the breathtaking serialized version of Bitterbloom Bearer. This artwork comes from the one and only — Rebecca Guay. You might’ve noticed that she also did the original Bitterblossom, making this the perfect homage to Lorwyn.
There will be just 500 of these cards, each one with its unique number. All of them feature special double rainbow foil treatment.
Serialized Bitterbloom Bearer: Odds
The serialized version of Bitterbloom Bearer can only be opened in Lorwyn Eclipsed Collector boosters.
Here’s what Wizards state about the card: “A serialized double rainbow foil Bitterbloom Bearer appears in less than 1% of Collector boosters. Serialized copies of Bitterbloom Bearer can appear in Collector boosters of any language, but the card will always be in English.”
Now less than 1% doesn’t really tell a lot, does it? In order to calculate the odds, we’d have to know how many Collector boosters are there, but that isn’t known. Some of the best estimates from older sets account for 250,000-300,000 Collector booster boxes per set.
Let’s assume that there are 250,000 Collector booster boxes printed. With 12 packs per box, this amounts to 3 million Collector boosters. Only 500 of them contain a serialized Bearer.
So, the odds of opening one in a single Collector booster would be 1 in 6,000 or 0.017%.
That would mean that there’s a single serialized card per 500 Collector booster boxes. Thus, a Collector booster box gives you a 0.2% chance.
Important Notice
Note that this is just an estimation, which assumes the total number of Lorwyn Eclipsed Collector booster boxes is “just” 250 thousand booster boxes. That’s based on information about older sets, and the actual number could be significantly higher.
This would further reduce the odds, but the picture is still painted quite clearly. You are extremely unlikely to open this card.
So, if the only card you want from your Collector booster is the serialized Bearer, you shouldn’t buy them. On the other hand, if there are plenty of cards that interest you, and you don’t mind the higher price tag, then go for it.
How Much is the Serialized Bitterbloom Bearer Worth?
So, how much will the card actually be worth? It’s hard to tell before the secondary market does its thing. The supply is low, and the demand is certainly there, but it’s hard to figure how high that could be.
Our best estimate is somewhere around $3,000 for a card without a special number. Significant numbers (1, 100, 500, etc.) will likely pull a higher premium.
Conclusion
So, that’s all about this amazing serialized card. If by any chance you didn’t find what you were looking for, let us know in the comments. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
